About Carlisle
Carlisle ( kar-LYLE, KAR-lyle; from Cumbric: Caer Luel;Scots: Cairel, Cairl, Caeril;Scottish Gaelic: Cathair Luail) is a bordercity and the county town of Cumbria, as with ease as the administrative middle of the City of Carlisle district in North West England.
