About Ellesmere Port
Ellesmere Port ( ELZ-meer) is a port town in the Cheshire West and Chester local authority area of Cheshire, England. Ellesmere Port is on the south eastern edge of the Wirral Peninsula, 6 miles (9.7 km) north of Chester, 12 miles (19 km) south of Birkenhead, 16 miles (26 km) southwest of Runcorn and 11 miles (18 km) south of Liverpool.
